Job Description – Human Resources Advisor

Reporting to: HR Manager
Location: Head Office, Walsall + travel to sites
Hours: 37.5 Monday to Friday
Salary: £26,000 – £28,800per year

Job Purpose:
To assist and support the HR Manager and HR Director in providing a comprehensive HR service
to The Staffing Group (TSG) and Flexi-Workers employed by Extra Personnel and Single
Resource.
Requirements:
Knowledge of HR practices and legislation
Ability to make affective judgements and decision making skills
Ability to work in a fast paced reactive environment
Ability to establish strong, effective working relationships
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess an influential and persuasive interpersonal style
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Experience in carrying out and advising on HR processes / procedures
Duties:
Liaise with Managers and Onsite Staff regarding company policies and procedures
Provide employee relations advice to TSG where appropriate
Carry out formal disciplinary, grievance hearings and investigations with Flexi-Workers
and TSG employees.
Manage Flexi-Worker absence issues and long term sick
Conduct welfare meetings
Carry out HR Training in the HR Managers absence
Compile and send dismissal letters, meeting invite letters and relevant employee
relations correspondence
Answer and manage verbal complaints via the Flexi-Worker helpline
Departmental administration
Compile and develop HR policies and procedures for the network where required
Assist the HR Manager and HR Director with HR/Company projects
Assist the HR Manager and Director with tupe transfers
Covering the duties of the HR Assistant during holidays
Keep updated with relevant legislation
Any other duties as required

FULL DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL
