Recruitment Bee

Salary: £60,000 per year

Opportunities for HR Management roles do not come around very often in the Highlands, so we are pleased to support a client who after many years with the company is taking early retirement. These will be big shoes to fill but you will be joining a highly capable HR team who support over 300 employees across their 6 sites in the North of Scotland.

Providing support to the business Directors, the HR Manager’s role will suit someone who has HR Generalist experience, as no two days are ever the same, holds a CIPD Certificate, Diploma or relevant degree and wants to work for an organisation who values diversity, inclusion, continual professional development, and enthusiasm for their business.

What you’ll do

The HR Manager can expect their role to be hands-on and will be required to assist with the management of the overall HR operations and the delivery of strategic objectives as well as line management of a team of 3 personnel.

It would be great if you

* Are experienced at working at Senior Management level, and able to apply your HR business knowledge to offer guidance and advice of business change processes or impact.

* Can act as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations.

* Collect and analyse human resources data and make recommendations for changes to management.

* Are a people person, who motivates and inspires the team, working together to review internal and external performance and reporting/planning accordingly.

To be successful in the role

* You will be able to demonstrate how you have implemented human resources programs by providing human resource services, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, health and safety, succession planning, employee relations and retention, compliance and change management.

* Be able to provide expert advice and guidance to management of complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement, and redundancy and any liaison with trade unions as required.

* Accredited to CIPD Certificate or Diploma level – or Degree in HR

Where you will work

Successful applicant will be based in our modern, spacious offices in Inverness, central to the town centre and be happy to travel across our other 6 locations from Highlands, Islands and Aberdeen areas to meet our staff in these locations.

If you love a generalist role where you can enjoy a varied workload, then we would love to hear from you.
