Materials Planner
The Client & Role | Who Are They?
Material supply is a challenge for many manufacturing businesses at this moment in time, everyone is fighting for the same materials, components and products.
We are retained to recruit a pivotal position for a busy, high volume manufacturing business that provide assembled products but with onsite raw material processes too.
The Candidate | What Are We Looking For?
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning material supply from 50 suppliers throughout Europe, ensuring optimum stock levels to maximise space and production efficiency.
This role will see you liaise directly with suppliers daily, negotiating, influencing, charming, nagging, whatever is required to ensure the business receives what it needs to hit its on time in full delivery schedule.
This role would suit those with experience in planning or buying. There is no specific MRP or ERP experience required as training will be provided. The key to success for this role is the ability to build relationships with suppliers and manage and plan incoming inventory in line with mater production schedule.
