Quality Engineer

£30,000 – £35,000. Quality Engineer – Aerospace. Job opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to join an engineering manufacturing company who are a world leader in the development and manufacture of advanced machine tool systems for the Aerospace and Gas Turbine, Power Generation industries. Job vacancy as a Quality Engineer will involve supporting the AS9100 and Nadcap accreditations.

The job will involve:
• Supporting the Quality Manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management systems – AS9100 and Nadcap.
• Liaison with customers and suppliers on quality issues and requirements
• Final release of product to Customer
• Preparation for and participation within internal, external and supplier audits
• Root cause analysis and implementation/co-ordination of corrective action for process related concerns
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement activities to enhance systems

This job will suit:
• An experienced Quality Engineer with track record in Aerospace or PowerGen sectors.
• Strong understanding of AS9100 and Nadcap within manufacturing environment
• Audit experience of prime aerospace customer and international standard requirements.
• Special processes control experience, EDM, NDT and welding an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

This position is commutable from Coalville, Leicester, Ashby, Loughborough, Hinckley and surrounding areas.
