Excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join a company where you will be given the authority and freedom to develop the role whilst technically developing yourself through training.

This is a chance to really stamp your authority on a department with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities.

This company is a specialist manufacturer of products that are supplied across the country. Having been established for over 60 years, they are an awarding winning company who pride themselves on the quality of their product and well known brand recognition. Having identified the need to develop the Quality Department, they require an Engineer to help drive this through.

In this role, the successful Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading and supporting improvement projects across the site. You will lead 8D problem resolution, develop work instructions and ensure adherence to Quality Systems across the site.

The Role:

*Act as Quality Champion within the company
*Developing quality processes and procedures
*Being heavily involved in continuous improvement work
*Investigating any non-conformances

The Person:

*Prior experience in a quality engineering role
*Experience in a manufacturing environment
*Knowledge of NCRs, Audits, investigations, 8D, Lean etc
