Quality Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join the UK’s leading defence company on an initial 6 month contract.

Glasgow
£33 per hour

The Role

* Responsible for the deployment, delivery and sustainment of quality standards across Supply Chain function and projects
* Responsible for the effective deployment, delivery and sustainment of the Quality Maturity Model (Level 4) across Supply Chain
* Responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of the 2016 Delivery Function Action Plan across Supply Chain
* To work with the Quality Director and his team to provide a clear line of sight partner with the divisional quality function, to align internal and external quality standards

The Candidate

* Lean/Six Sigma accreditation
* Experience of implementing a Quality Model in a large multi-site, multi project, environment
* Risk management skills and experience
* Developed general management skills
* PC literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, DCS, DRS, DMS
