Salary: £38,400 – £39,600 per year
Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis to work within their busy heavy engineering/manufacturing facility.
You will be responsible for APQP and PPAP of new products, including development of all documentation, calibration and MSA, new product project support, including customer parts Quality Function Liaison and providing QA support to internal departments.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience within a heavy engineering/manufacturing industry, preferably automotive based.
Experience of tooling, presswork and assembly would be advantageous.
Candidates must be educated too minimum HND/C level in an engineering or Quality discipline.
A driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role for supplier contact.
The role could include shifts so flexibility on hours is key for this position.
