Merchandising Representative – Part time Opportunity Teeside
12 month Fixed Term Contract (initially, with scope for extension)

25 hours per week – (5 hours a day 11am – 4pm, 5 days per week – Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday) £26,000 per year

What you become a part of

The purpose of this role is to ensure Instant Consumption/drink now product availability through daily merchandising in high performing top end grocery stores.

What to expect

– Driving availability and distribution within defined territory of up to 10 stores and ensuring that all chilled equipment and displays are fully stocked and compliant with nationally agreed planogram.
– To enable compliance stock will require to be picked from the warehouse areas within stores, transported to various locations within the store and will require attention to POS/pricing detail to ensure consumer awareness of the national promotions.
– Targeted on volume, display, availability and core stock levels of key CCE products spending approximately 45-60 mins per call each day across 4 stores with the potential to merchandise in the region of 10 cases per store.
– Data input via handheld providing daily reporting to the Team Leader, Merchandising and the wider business
– Developing good working relationships and rapport with in store contacts to influence availability and display levels,
– Collaboration with Professional Field Sales Accounts personnel, Team Leaders, Sales Managers and the wider merchandising/field sales team within the Home channel to ensure stock availability and merchandising excellence is key to the success of this role.

PLEASE NOTE: You Must have access to your own car and have a driving license with no more than 6 points..

– Previous Customer facing experience preferred
– Can demonstrate an ability to work with minimum supervision
– Problem Solving Skills
– Good level of numeracy and literacy
– Excellent communication and rapport building skills
– A real ‘want’ to work part-time on the hours/days stated
– The job-holder will be fully trained in manual handling and all other aspects of the role.
