Assistant Product Manager – Blood Gas

As Assistant Product Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Manager with clinical and application queries from customers and the sales team. In addition you will participate in the design and execution of marketing initiatives.

This global leader offers a range of innovative clinical instruments of high quality for acute care testing, with a policy to provide excellent sales and after sales support to all customers. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing the company’s tender submissions, from responding to the advertisement, to completing and submitting the tender and tracking and reporting on the company’s success. You will be responsible for analysing the market in which the company operates and provide regular information to the management team about the situation in both the UK and Ireland. A key challenge for this role is to maintain good working relations with main contractors and the NHS Supply Chain to ensure the company are considered as the supplier of choice for Blood Gas and Immunoassay analysers.

Your background is likely to be as a Biomedical Scientist with relevant pathology laboratory experience. You maybe from an applications support background with experience of completing tenders and managing projects.
