Our client is a leading global innovator, manufacturer and marketer of tools, equipment, diagnostics, repair information and systems solutions for professional users performing critical tasks. Their products and services include hand and power tools, tool storage, diagnostics software, information and management systems, shop equipment and other solutions for a variety of industries.
They are currently recruiting for a Product Manager to join their Marketing team based in Kettering. You will support the Lead Product Manager with the development, pricing and launching of exciting new product promotions, supporting monthly sales campaigns for a network of franchises and creating sell-through promotions that meet budgetary gross margins. Working both independently and as part of a team you will assist with the production of a sales promotional plan with new and exciting products to specified value and margin levels. You will work and negotiate with local purchase suppliers, developing new product opportunities and managing promotional overstock issues. Utilising your analytical skills you will analyse overstock, providing recommendations to the Lead Product Manager, will assist with the proof reading of promotional flyers and the advertising of promotional and clearance products.
Our client are welcoming applications from candidates with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to establish and maintain working relationships with both colleagues and suppliers. You will have previous experience of working within a similar hands on role, ideally with an engineering background, however this is not essential.
