Service Delivery Scientist – Water

Andrew Bolton at CK Science is recruiting for a Service Delivery Scientist to join a leading Water Utilities organisation at their site in Suffolk on a full time, permanent basis.

As a Service Delivery Scientist, you will be responsible for:
– Visiting water recycling sites around the region taking samples at various stages of the process.
– Working closely with on-site teams to provide technical support, carrying out risk assessments & suggesting process improvements to reduce costs & increase efficiency.
– Recording & analysing results from sampling to identify trends & non-conformances and report back to relevant sites.
– Liaise with the Environmental Agency and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with regulatory & industry standards.
– Provide out of hours on-call support to regional sites on a rotating 1 in 12 week basis.
– Occasionally attend customers sites when required.

As a Service Delivery Scientist, you will have the below qualifications, skills & experience.

Essential:
– A qualification in a Scientific or Engineering discipline (or equivalent).
– Demonstrated experience in a Analytical Testing, Process Scientist / Engineer or other relevant function ideally gained within the Water, Environmental or a related industry. Experience in other industries will be considered.
– Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
– A full driving licence.

Desirable (the below are advantageous but not essential):
– Holds or willing to work towards a relevant qualification such as CIWEM.
– A member of a professional body.
– Specific experience in a waste water and/or water recycling environment.

As a Service Delivery Scientist, you will be joining a leading Water Utilities organisation, who in return offers a salary of between £33,600 – £38,760, coupled with excellent benefits including Company Car, Pension, Private Medical and Paid Professional Membership.
