1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer

ABOUT THE POSITION:

IntaPeople have an urgent requirement for a 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a large global brand based in South London. It is an exciting time to join this industry giant, as due to a recent mass-investment, the IT department is currently enjoying a period of expansion and technology refurbishment.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a 1st or 2nd Line Support position, experience using VMWare and Citrix, but overall be a keen team player who isnt afraid of getting stuck in! Plenty of training will be made available, as well as great opportunities to progress.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

– 1st / 2nd Line Support experience
– Ability to support 400 + servers
– VMWare
– Citrix
– Customer service / internal support experience

THE PERSON:

– Strong customer focus and customer service attitude.
– High personal motivation and energy
– Strong personal organisational skills
– Good communication skills both written and verbal
– Empathy to understand issues from both the customer viewpoint and from individuals within the business, and to respond appropriately
