Marketing Manager

Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

Cogent Staffing are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to manage content/PR and exposure to create sales leads and maintain customer relationships for our well established client based in Leeds. The company specialise in super cars and racing events so interest in this field would be beneficial.

THE ROLE:

• Manage a small marketing team.
• Work amongst and drive the commercial team to raise the profile of the group
• Manage PR and communications of the group
• Create promotions, initiate and maintain responsibility to completion.
• Create ideas and execute to create leads and content.
• Manage ‘Group’ web and social presences to maintain message.
• Support the sales and where necessary proactively close deals on cars and products.
• Liaise with worldwide distributors to add value to their efforts.
• Be visible and available at their HQ and owned locations.
• Promote and actively support infancy projects and ideas.
• Identify sales opportunities in sectors, markets and territories and deliver a project plan.
• Oversee brand partners to initiate, maintain and grow relationships.
• Ensure outstanding levels of customer service are delivered at all times
• Working with the commercial, events and motorsport departments across international distributors.
• Support and attend offsite demo and motorsport events trialling products and closing sales.
• Liaising with all the departmental heads.

THE CANDIDATE:

• Have significant experience in the Motorsport sector

• Be charismatic and outgoing with excellent communications skills.
• Friendly, polite and professional
• Experience of managing a small team or project from start to finish.
• Able to converse and communicate on all Motorsport aspects.
• Able to work to target and deadlines
• Well-presented and organised
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and able to work on own and as part of a team

THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• £40,000 DOE
