Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor X 2

Salary: £40,800 – £48,000(depending on experience) + Car and package

Location: Doncaster – With site visits.

OVERVIEW:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a highly successful, Tier 1 contractor who are now looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor. My clients are a major player within the rail and civil engineering industry with many large scale contracts.

THE ROLE

-My clients are looking for a Quantity Surveyor or experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking for career progression and hopefully head towards commercial management.
-The ideal person will be enthusiastic and have a passion for the civils/rail industry. The role would suit an Assistant QS with 3-4 years’ experience looking to make the step up and run their own projects with little or no supervision. My client would also be interested in the QS with 4-5 years’ experience who is looking to work on larger projects.

THE CANDIDATE

-Ideally be Degree qualified or have sufficient relevant experience
-Previous experience working on Rail or Civil projects
-Experience of NEC, Network rail or ICE forms of contracts would be an advantage.
