Production Manager (Automotive)

Are you a Production Manager from a European automotive background and fancy living and working in Thailand?

We are a global supplier to automotive industry specialising in renewable energy with offices worldwide. We are looking for a Production Manager with European automotive experience to head up or production in our facility in Bangkok (Thailand)

Production Manager Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for a production area of?our site in Bangkok
Implementation and optimization of manufacturing processes under aspects of Lean Management
Consistent development of the existing production system and existing work processes
initiate productivity improvements and ensure the best possible system utilization
transfer of development projects into series production
Compliance and optimization of all relevant costs, quality and appointment criteria
visualization of relevant KPIs and deriving measures thereof
Close coordination with the quality management and implementation of agreed Q-goals in manufacturing

Production Manager Specification:
Successfully completed a technical university degree, eg. production engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
Experienced in the European market
Must have experience in the production area of?the automotive industry
Experience in the production of electronic components
Additional work experience in quality management would also be beneficial
In-depth knowledge of the region ISO / TS 16949
Versed in handling tools such. As 8D reports, FMEA, KVP, Shop Floor Management, Root Cause Analysis, 5 whys, etc. and with ERP systems (eg. As SAP)
Experience in the Asian region, ideally through a long-term business stay in Asia
Relevant experience in the restructuring / optimization of manufacturing
Must speak and write fluent English
Willingness to travel
