Production Manager

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Well established Design, print and installation company that work with local SME’s to worldwide corporate companies are seeing a Production Manager to bolster up their team due to continued expansion. As a Production Manager you will be responsible for helping to build and manage the team on the shop floor by providing consistency and quality for all customers.

Key tasks:

* Manage the shop floor production

* Work closely with the management team to ensure all key strategies are implemented

* Be involved with Estimation as and when required

* Ensure management of waste reduction

* Prioritising jobs to ensure they meet the demand of the company diary Checking stock to ensure that all supplies are available for future jobs

* Dealing with the sales team to ensure jobs sheets are correct and accurate Passing over the complete kits to the installation team

* Ensuring that work areas are clean and tidy Keeping track of the diary

* Management of production staff

The ideal candidate:

* Previous experience in the print / signage industry

* Knowledge of format printing technology and software, small and large Format / Litho

* Enthusiastic Must be highly organised and strong planning

* Attention to detail and a good eye for colour

* Problem solving – being able to react to meet deadlines and brainstorm product solutions

* Must have full driving licence
