Salary: £32,142 per year
Our client is a busy and expanding manufacturing business with a facility based in South Tyneside.
The site is part of a worldwide manufacturing group, who manufacture niche products for industrial purposes.
They are currently looking to add a Maintenance Technician to their team on a permanent basis. Although the company works a variety of shifts, including days and 3 shifts, initially the role will be to work on a continental shift pattern (4 on 4 off), for at least 6 months. Flexibility to work on the company’s other shift patterns is essential.
The basic salary is £32,142with a 25% shift allowance for continental shifts.
Applicants must be time served or educated to ONC/HNC in an Engineering field. There is an emphasis on both mechanical and electrical skills and a sound knowledge of PLC’s is a must. Experience is also essential from a high volume production environment.
