Quality Process Engineer – Kidderminster – Upto £28000
My Client, a privately owned manufacturing company, established over 50 years ago is enjoying continued growth and are expanding their Quality function with the appointment of a Quality Process Engineer reporting to the Head of Production.
The Role of Quality Process Engineer.
* You will be responsible for ensuring the companies written processes and procedures are followed which will in turn enable an effective and efficient process flow within the manufacturing environment.
* It will be part of your role to analyse production output and first off inspection performance on a daily basis and report bottlenecks, shortfalls and inefficiencies upwardly.
* You will create and deliver problem action reports and be involved in process mapping along with drafting and presenting process ideas and working with departmental managers to assist in operational improvements.
* Ultimately you will be instrumental in sustaining a higher level of quality output and a reduction of complaints by ensuring process flow is followed. You will ensure compliance is consistently met and communicate with the relevant line managers or departmental managers any non-compliances.
* You will proactively work towards QMS improvement activities, maintain schedules, and be involved in process improvement or change.
The Candidate
* Must be highly communicative, able to talk to operatives about procedures and capable of talking to board level to report non-conformances and other required data.
* You will be fully conversant with all quality core tools, will have worked in a similar role and be process driven.
* You will have knowledge of engineering software systems and ideally have experience of CAD / AutoCAD.
* You will be an analytical thinker and have the ability to project manage.
* There is no preference on the type of product that you have worked with in the past but you must be experienced in QMS and be comfortable in communicating process on a face to face level and able to challenge professionally whilst maintaining a methodical approach.
This position is a day role working 07:00-16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:00-13:00 Friday.
