Process Engineer

Salary Up to 32000 + Bonus + superb benefits

Wiltshire

This highly successful international organisation who manufacture, engineer and install specialist products and equipment, are seeking to recruit a Process Engineer to support their production team at their long-established site based in Wiltshire.

Their extensive experience crosses all markets from telco, broadband and wireless to electric utility, OEM enterprise and private networks.

Responsibilities

As a Process Engineer you will be responsible for –

· To support production team in manufacturing at the Wiltshire site.

· Process Engineering for all manufacturing processes related to cable production.

· Continuous Improvement Activities based on the assigned Design Projects and development activities.

· Training of shop floor operatives on new equipment, processes and procedures.

· Implementation and maintenance of Environmental Health and Safety Policies.

· Maintaining kpi’s for the Process Engineering area.

· Instruct and support the production staff and set the standard for the level of work by example.

· On rota provide support on a call-out basis after normal hours of work to resolve process issues.

Qualifications and Experience

· Qualified to minimum degree level in a mechanical or manufacturing engineering related discipline.

· Minimum of 5 years shop floor experience in a manufacturing environment operating Lean manufacturing methodologies – (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, JIT, kanban etc.).

· Extrusion processing and process troubleshooting – essential – at least 2 years’ experience.

· Excellent communication skills. Able to present complex information at all levels. Computer literate and fully conversant with Microsoft Office components.

· Experience of working within ISO9000 Environment preferred and ISO14001 and/or ISO18001 an advantage
