They are looking to recruit a Quality Controller working on the 2-10 pm shift (Monday -Friday) as they continue to ramp up their production. Job Description
Reporting in the QHSE Manager you will be responsible for meeting industry quality standards for material and product conformity.
* Coach colleagues and peers in quality-related processes and practices.
* Close working with Warehouse and Supply Chain teams.
* Problem-solving using root cause analysis tools as appropriate
* Familiar with Quality Standards such as ISO 9001, ISO13485. BRC and customer standards.
* Deliver business audits to assure quality standards.
* Contribute to the content and delivery of business communications relating to quality matters.
* Continuous Improvement methodology and Lean principles.
* Implement continuous improvements to drive and improve the S&OP processes.
* Inspire, motivate and develop team members in achieving high levels of quality.
The Successful Applicant
The Quality Controller will come from a Manufacturing Background/Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background and ideally be from the paper, tissue, plastic, Health-care / Pharmaceutical, or FMCG industry.
Experience
* 3 -5 years quality experience ideally gained within a FMCG environment
* Strong Quality Champion
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills
* Systematic and rational decision-maker, even under pressure.
* Proven experience of identifying and implementing best practice processes
