Project Quantity Surveyor opportunity with a large main contractor based in the Midlands.

Company Overview

Excellent opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to work for a regional Design & Build contractor who are experiencing a significant period of growth. As a company they put their employees at the heart of their business and enjoy an excellent reputation for training and developing their staff coupled with very good prospects for career progression.

After the turmoil of the last recession they are now in a strong financial position and will achieve a record turnover for the business this year. Consequently their pipeline of orders for this year and next remains strong and they are looking to strengthen their Surveying department with a like minded Quantity Surveyor who is keen to progress in an inclusive working environment.

The Role

As Project Quantity Surveyor you will be required to work within the commercial team on a broad range of projects. Typically their clients include commercial, industrial, education and healthcare organisations from which they enjoy a high level of repeat business. Projects are both new build and refurbishment with values of between £3 Million to £10 Million.

The Project QS role will cover a broad and challenging list of responsibilities from sub-contract procurement, variations, valuations, cost reporting to final accounts.

Required experience

As Project Quantity Surveyor you should hold an HNC or degree in a building or surveying discipline and have experience of working on projects of a similar nature.
