Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

Quantity Surveyor required to join a construction company based in Brighton and Hove, that are specialists within the dry lining, plastering and screeding sector. The company are actively looking for an Assistant / Intermediate level Quantity Surveyor to join their team based near the Hove area. The suitable QS will join a growing commercial team with great potential to grow in the future.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will have at least 3 years’ experience working within a Quantity Surveying role. The company offer a range of dry lining services to leading house builders across the country, therefore, previous experience of this would be highly beneficial, although not essential.

Intermediate / Assistant Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

Looking after multiple housing sites
Responsible for circa £10m project values (shared with another QS)
Use of On Screen Take-Off software
Progressive path available to become a fully-fledged QS
Completing a range of Quantity Surveying duties

Intermediate / Assistant Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Experience working within a contractor such as dry lining would be beneficial
Hungry and motivated to grow as a QS
Previous experience in estimating would be beneficial (not essential)
Commutable distance to the Hove area
