Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £54,000 – £66,000 per year

Linear are working alongside a Social Housing provider who is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor.

The QS will work closely with Commercial Director to effectively partner with a key clients, delivering New Build Social Housing.

The successful candidate will possess at least 3 years experience in a Commercial Manager or Managing QS role, ideally working for a social housing contractor covering planned maintenance and refurbishment. They must also possess a relevant QS qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans

• Present cost estimates and cost plans to clients

• Prepare contractor tender submissions

• Provide procurement route advice

• Collate and manage tendering process

• Prepare Tender Analysis and Recommendations

• Prepare Contract Documentation

• Conduct Interim Valuations

• Prepare Monthly Cost Reports

• Final Account Negotiation and Settlement

About you:

• MRICS Qualified

• University Degree 2:1 or higher (Merit level at Masters Qualification)

• Valid UK Driving Licence
