Planning Coordinator

£40,000 – £45,000 + bonus & benefits

Reading

My client is a leading provider of engineering services into the Water, Industrial and M&E sectors. They are currently looking for a Planning Coordinator to join their team in Reading. The ideal candidate will have experience working for an Engineering company within similar industries (Water, Industrial etc). Knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical equipment is also a bonus.

This role would suit an existing Planning Coordinator or a Planning Engineer / Manager with a background in engineering services

The role:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be:

Scheduling and planning all labour and material requirements in a cost-effective way
Monitoring, reviewing and evaluating process of projects
Establishing project work plan and schedules
Providing the Senior Management with regular progress updates and forecasts
Managing the admin team to ensure all tasks are carried out effectively and efficientlyRequirements:

Previous experience in a similar position (project planning)
Knowledge of Project Management and Planning
Quotation experience
Industry knowledge is ideal (Water, Industrial, Utilities)
Knowledge of Supply Chain and Distribution management
Experience working with budgetsIn return for your services the company offer an attractive package of £48,000 – £54,000plus a range of bonuses and benefits that come with this role
