Salary £39,600PA dependent on experience and qualifications + Excellent Benefits Package

37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 – 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 -12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday).

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated Service Planning Co-ordinator to join a busy Service Department. The successful applicant will assist with the scheduling of a team of Service Engineers, produce work quotes for customers, input data and liaise with customers in a professional manner. 

Primary responsibilities:

• Arrangement and co-ordination of field engineers

• Support in manning of the technical helpdesk

• 1st line response to incoming queries by phone and email.

• Quotation for service works and spare parts

• Preparation of quotes and general correspondence

• Order intake and acceptance

• Order processing on to “inforXA” system/ Order progressing

• Preparation of orders for materials and resources for servicing jobs

• Warranty analysis

• Maintenance of all Service records and databases/CRM

• Maintenance of service quality procedures

• General office duties

Key skills and qualifications:

• Technical bias

• Familiarity with computers and operating systems

• Electrical engineering experience, or willingness to learn

• Systematic approach to problem solving and organisation

• Good telephone manner.

• Must be computer literate

• Working knowledge of MRP systems would be an advantage and Excel at an intermediate level.
