2nd Line – Desktop Support Analyst

Rullion Resource is acting as an employment business.

We need someone with experience of general desktop second line support, working within defined service levels across multiple business areas for our well-known client in their Manchester City Centre headquarters. Knowledge of Citrix XenDesktop, active directory, Exchange, mobile device support, antivirus and encryption required. You may also be asked to help support business project activities.

Working within the Corporate I.T department of the large organisation, you will be responsible for:
-Producing technical expertise, remote and localised technical fault resolution.
-Providing a high level of Desktop Analysis throughout the department.
-Supporting and implementing the hardware / software and delivery of projects throughout the United Kingdom.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Desktop Analyst, 2nd Line or 3rd Line Analyst or Systems Analyst and be able to manage high workloads to ensure deadlines and service level agreements are met.

This is a temporary position anticipated to start immediately and last on an on-going basis until December. There will be a possibility of extension on this and this will be dependent on the business need and your performance in the role. The working hours are Monday-Friday between normal office hours, for a total of 37.5 hours weekly, and a pay rate of £16.62per hour.
