2nd Line support Analyst (Perm, Luton)
We are looking to recruit on behalf of a successful corporate business an experience 2nd Line Support Analyst. The 2nd Line Support Analyst responsible for:
- Providing immediate response to incidents and owning corrective and preventative actions.
- Fast action incident response and resolution from 1st Line escalation.
- Proactive analysis of service failures and eradication of problems.
- Analysis of defect to define workarounds that will enable resumption of service;
- Maintenance of high availability environments,
- Risk analysis and management of new applications into the production environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5+ year’s industry experience in operational support roles
- 2+ years’ experience with high volume and high availability environments
- Proven technical knowledge in problem resolution and incident escalation
- Proven problem solving skills focused on quick outage recovery and root cause analysis
- Experience with scheduling activities
- Skills in configuration troubleshooting and performance tuning of applications
- ITIL experience beneficial
- Understanding of BCP and audit activities required on operational service beneficial

- Able to work standard UK business days, plus rotation of on call activity to support 24×7 services
- Proactive and responsible, and so able to work unsupervised
