The Opportunity:

Engineering Manager (FMCG / Food) required for a multinational, bluechip organisation in their flagship UK facility. The company are heading in to a massively exiting time with growth and investment so we are looking for a established and strong manager who can shape this moving forward.

The Role:

The Engineering Manager (FMCG / Food) will be coming in to manage an existing and growing team of engineers across the facility – responsible for proactive and reactive maintenance. You will have direct management of these as well as administrative people under your management.

The Engineering Manager (FMCG / Food) role will incorporate project work as well across the facility, with you heading up all projects that relate to the likes of equipment, investment and recruitment. You will be responsible for a budget of over £1 million, so the scope of the role is big. This is an out and out management role, but you are expected to have an understanding of the machinery you are to find in such faculties such as gear boxes, PLC’s etc.

* Managing a team of multi disciplined engineers and administrative staff
* Managing all engineering projects across the facility
* Managing budget in excess of £1m
* Mechanical and electrical technical knowledge to assist the engineers

The Person:

For the Engineering Manager (FMCG / Food), we are looking for a established manager who can really get the best out of a strong team of engineers. The company are going through real growth at present so you will be overseeing the growth of the teams, investment and the budget in to the facility and such. You will ideally have food experience and / or FMCG but we would potentially consider managers from different production / manufacturing industries.

* Strong management background managing teams of engineers
* Strong food / FMCG background ideally
* Track record in the development of engineering teams and equipment across a facility
