Business Development Executive – Freight
An international Freight forwarder is looking for a dynamic Business Development executive to join their small team based in Central Leicester. This position is office based.
Reporting directly to the Director of the business, your focus will be targeting local and national businesses to offer Multi-Modal freight services.
Responsibilities
* Creating a target audience by using online tools such as LinkedIn and referral system
* Booking in sales meetings via telephone
* Source, manage and follow up on new sales leads
* Account management with new and existing clients
* Sales Administration
* Assisting with operations
Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales where you have generated your own leads
* Experience working in or knowledge of the Freight industry is a plus
* Avid networker
* Can-do attitude
* Excellent communication skills
* Ambitious with the willingness to learn, develop and progress your career
* Great IT skills
