UK’s largest rural retailer of goods and services to farmers and the general public, are seeking Floor Manager for their Country Store Centre in Salisbury, Wiltshire. This progressive and diverse business with an annual turnover of over £400m and employing over 1,900 employees, seeks a skilled and experienced Floor Manager or Senior Supervisor to oversee and be accountable for the future success of the Centre.

THE ROLE
•As Floor Manager you will support the Store & Deputy Manager in the daily running of the Garden Centre, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, whilst motivating the team at all times
•Ensure fantastic retail standards and profitable sales
•Working to company targets and support the Store Manager when implementing any necessary changes to ensure achieved and excided sales targets
•Oversee stock management, visual merchandising and the daily housekeeping of the site
•You will manage a large team of staff and be accountable for the successful training of your team as well as recruit new staff for the business

To be suitable for the role you must have:
•A proven track record as a retail Floor Manager or Supervisor looking to take the next step up in their career
•Be an inspirational leader, with a positive and motivational approach to managing staff
•Have an obsession with delivering outstanding customer service
•Strong organisational skills with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
•Knowledge of the agricultural and countryside marketplace is an advantage – a keen interest is essential!
