Location: Edmonton
My Client are recruiting for an experienced wood machinist to join a busy joinery team based in Edmonton, London This is a fantastic permanent opportunity to join a well established professional friendly team. The workshop provides services to a large main contractor producing high end joinery components such as vanity and bar units, hotel room finishes, skirtings, doors for hotels and residential units.
Must have experience in operating the following General Woodworking Machinery:
Cross Cut, Panel/Dimension Saw, Bandsaw, Rip Saw and Planers. Ideal applicant would also have experience in working a Spindle Moulder, Mortice and Tenoner and Overhead Router.
Essential skills / experience:
– Carpentry/Joinery/Wood Machinist qualification
– Advanced skills in making cutters, running moulds, marking off cutting to size
– Extensive experience in making mortise and tenon joints
Requirements:
– Reliability with a can do attitude
– Flexible approach to working time to meet production demands when required
– Team spirit as well as using own initiative
– Excellent accuracy to produce quality work 1st time
Hours:
8.00-17.30
