CNC Wood Machinist
Working 6:00am to 6:15pm Friday to Sunday (35.25 hour week)
4 month temporary position
The Candidate
You will be working on a new weekend shift and be responsible for the setting and operating of CNC Wood Machinery, predominantly Homag and Biesse. You will have the following skills, experiences and attributes…
• MUST have experience as CNC Wood Machinist
• Experience on Homag and Biesse machines
• Experience of working with chipboard and MDF
• Experience on any of the following; beam saws, edge banders, drills, routers etc.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to operate and set CNC machinery
• Ability to modify CNC programmes would be beneficial but is not essential
• Ability to read engineering drawings

• Working from engineering drawings to produce high quality products
• Setting and operating of CNC wood machinery
• Modification of CNC programmes
• Adhering to quality and health and safety standards
• Housekeeping of work area
