Wood Machinist

Salary: £26,000 per year

Industrial Personnel are now hiring a Wood Machinist for our client- a highly respected woodworking company based in Rotherham.
The Job
* £26,000 per year.
* Temporary – Permanent role.
* Based in Rotherham S60.
* Overtime available.
* Operating machinery to manufacture wooden products.
The Person
* Must have previous machining experience.
* Advantageous if they have operated wood cnc, router or spindle machines.
* Must be able to work from instructions and drawings.
* Must have previous quality checking experience.
* Possess a good eye for detail and constantly strive for quality and accuracy.
* Possess the ability to work well as part of a team or alone.
* A demonstrable, hands on individual experienced at successfully delivering against challenging goals and targets.
* Willingness and capability to learn develop and adapt.
Working hours
Monday – Thursday, 40 hours per week
Training on day shift for 2-4 weeks (Mon-Thu: -07:00 – 16:00, Fri: 07:00 – 13:00)
On to nights when training completed (Mon – Thu: 15:00 – 01:30)
£26,000 per year shift allowance given once on night shift.
