Web and Marketing Assistant – Technology Sector

Company Profile:

Our client are one of the fastest growing organisations in the card payment industry, having recruited over 6,000 customers in 19 months. They help SMEs trade using a mix of financing and payment products and are looking to expand their team with driven and confident graduate talent.

The Role:

They are looking for someone to join the team as a Web and Marketing Assistant. You will have a key role representing the brand, not just for what’s seen on the web or in marketing materials but also relating to their reputation in the marketplace.

This role is ideally suited to an energetic, focused and hard-working graduate who is keen to kick-start a career in marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintaining the company’s web presence and marketing materials
* Creating and designing sales literature, both internal and external
* Creating online and print ready versions of all material
* Consult with various departments to fully understand the design requirements
* Updating the website – ensuring consistency in message and style across all customer facing materials
* Working closely with the Commercial Director to develop your skills

So, what are we looking for?

* A graduate with a 2.1 or above in a related degree e.g. marketing, journalism or languages
* Someone with a “think and do” attitude – someone proactive and passionate about their career
* Ability to use SilverStripe CMS
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A high level of self-organisation and discipline
* A good level of knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
