Experienced Transport Manager that can take a small but busy operation to the “next level” As an experienced Transport manager you will understand the potential of the business and play a pivotal part in changing the dynamic and helping raise the bar.

As a strong leader you will provide and manage a safe, efficient, reliable and cost-effective delivery Transport service for the Company and our Customers. You will manage a team of Drivers to ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Manage relations and operations with any Logistics/transport partner company
• Planning, schedulingand reviewing workload to ensure production output to time and that delivery targets are achieved cost effectively.
• Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
• Recruit, lead, train and motivate a team of Drivers to ensure the best level of internal and external customer service is provided.
• Promote and ensure compliance with transport policies, procedures and legislation (e.g. Tachograph, Towing, ADR regulations).
• Ensure that Transport/O licence audit processes and procedures are completed in line with legislation.

Experience:

• Experienced with multi sized fleet of 20+
• Strong leader with a positive influence on staff members
• Professional and efficient approach
• CPC Holder preferred
• Detailed understanding of relevant legislation in transport and Health and Safety
• Ability to motivate team to achieve results
