WasteRecruit have been retained to support the recruitment of an experienced Transport Manager for a West Midlands based regional operator.

The role will involve day to day management of 50 drivers through two supervisors, one on the mobile compaction side and one on the skips/rollon-off side of the business.

With responsibility for day to day transport operations, we are looking for a competent transport manager who is used to working within a compliant business, driving up standards through OCRS and FORS accreditation.

You will be a competent business manager, happy to manage a P&L and make decisions based upon the P&L. Additionally, you will be comfortable developing the day to day KPIs to drive performance and ensure the business unit is constantly improving.

You must also be a high quality people manager, able to develop your team and ensure the values of the business are communicated both internally and to customers through high quality customer service.

You must have a CPC and have previously managed an ‘O’ Licence.
