Training and Employability Services Coordinator

CEiS Ayrshire is an innovative organisation who delivers employability and training services in Dumfries & Galloway and Ayrshire. Our team has been delivering these services for over 10 years and we are currently looking to expand this team by recruiting a new Training and Employability Services Coordinator for our Dumfries & Galloway office.
The Training and Employability Services Coordinator will work flexibly within their area to deliver high quality training and employability support to clients through the range of services provided by CEiS programmes. This is a multi-faceted role; primarily delivering our Employability Fund training; including the delivery of the Certificate of Work Readiness at SCQF Level 4; while working with the Skills & Training Services Manager and the Operations Manager to explore new opportunities to develop our services within the Dumfries & Galloway area.
Reporting to the Skills & Training Services Manager, the Training and Employment Services Coordinator will oversee all CEiS contracts in Dumfries & Galloway, taking on responsibility for the day to day supervision of a small multi-service team of staff, and ensuring the smooth and safe running of our new centre in Dumfries.
The Training and Employability Services Coordinator will promote all CEiS training opportunities, liaise with new and current customers and business, and potentially generate income through marketing services to local business. In addition the post holder will undertake administrative duties, maintaining confidential records, monitor review and evaluate work in line with quality standards.
A background in training, with knowledge of the Dumfries & Galloway Skills Pipeline and the Employability Fund are highly desirable.
Due to a wide delivery area, a driving licence and access to own transport is desirable.
