Training Administrator

Training Administrator – A Construction business, located on the outskirts of Barnsley, have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Training Administrator to commence with them on a permanent basis, immediately, a salary of £30,000is offered for the candidate with sufficient Rail/CSCS experience within a Training Capacity.

The role will involve the following:

Liaising with HR Advisors and Operational Management in relation to relevant training requirements

Identifying refresher training required in line with expiry dates and business needs

Raising training requests for approval

Sourcing and liaising with external providers for identified training

Booking required training

Ensuring that the delegate has all the necessary information to attend

Produce and update reports and spreadsheets as required

Managing accurate training records

Assisting with training budgets

Monitoring and reporting on career development activities

Update Workspace as required with training information and logging certificates

Answering incoming switchboard calls and dealing with company visitors as required

Ordering stationary as required

You will have a background in the following:

Must have prior experience of working in a similar training administration role within the Construction Industry/Rail Industry
Must have a clear and demonstrable understanding of various Competency Card Schemes (including and especially CSCS and CPCS
Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Good planning and organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident decision maker and problem solver
Ability to liaise with managers and providers to resolve issues
Work with minimal supervision
Efficient analysis and reporting skills
Knowledge of computer systems – word, excel and outlook as a minimum
