Trainee Auto CAD / Office Assistant

Our client is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with offices in East Croydon.

They are an expanding niche Chartered Surveying company who are looking to expand their Architectural Measured Surveys department.

Perhaps you have a BTEC National Certificate in Construction / ONC and are looking for a genuine career opportunity which could lead to RICS membership?

The successful candidate will be working closely with the rest of the experienced team and their Line Manager. They will have the autonomy to be given a high level of responsibility, offering excellent career progression.

They are primarily looking for self-starters keen to pursue their professional careers. A positive and proactive “can do” attitude, strong communication skills, great organisational and problem solving skills are a must.

Responsibilities

* Carrying out inspections on commercial properties using a laser scanner
* Travel to different locations daily
* Ensuring safety and security of scanner at all times.
* Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team.
* To contribute or assist as required.
* Legally able to live and work in the UK.

Qualities and skills required:

* Able to demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities or more.
* Excellent organisation skills.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Full understanding of data protection and able to handle confidential information.
* Resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties and work effectively.
* Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactive approach to daily tasks.
* Self-motivated and able to take responsibilities.
* Career progression and full training provided.
* Knowledge of AutoCAD would be preferred
