Reddiroll Limited are currently looking for a new member of staff to assist with a large influx of orders.

Originally formed in 1979 Reddiroll Limited moved to Bromsgrove in 2004 and now has over 30 years’ experience of servicing the Cold Roll Forming industry. We have our own in-house design and manufacturing facility which produce Roll Forming lines, Forming Rolls, Rotary Pierce Units, Cut off/Pierce Tools and all related products and also an in-house try-out facility to ensure our rolls work saving our clients time.

We are looking to recruit a time served experienced toolmaker with the ability to use manual Milling/Turning/Grinding machines on a permanent basis.

The salary will be around £38,400depending on experience.

33 days holiday per year (including statutory days)

Company contribution into Stakeholder pension scheme

Hours of work Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00 (12:30 to 13:00 lunch)

Main Duties

* Set up tools and load materials onto lathes/milling machines/grinders

* Carry out machining of components

* Carry out inspection to the authorized level

* Identify and report drawing errors and suggest improvements

* Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy

* Carry out any other duties reasonable within capability as required by managers

Person Specification

* Fully skilled time served toolmaker with turning/milling and grinding experience

* Used to working to tolerances with ferrous and non-ferrous materials

* Able to interpret engineering drawings

* Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment

* Able to work under own initiative

* Flexible, courteous, friendly and positive approach
