Job Profile

As the successful Manual Machinist you will be working alongside a dedicated team of precision engineers and toolmakers with extensive experience and knowledge in a fast paced precision engineering and manufacturing environment, developing, repairing and maintaining of mould tools for the blow mould sector.

Duties

* Produce parts and tooling using precision tools including lathes, mills, grinders and drills

* Use gauges and measuring tools to meet tolerance requirements

* Bench work when required

* Work as a team to ensure quality and production targets are meet

* Producing components from engineering drawings

* Self-inspection

* Working with a variety of materials including Stainless Steels, Brass and Aluminium

Skills & Experience

* Manual milling, turning and grinding

* Understand of CNC machining would be an advantage

* Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Strong team player who can who work on their own when required

* Competent in the use of hand-held measuring equipment

Hours & Benefits

* 39 hours per week

* 08.00 – 16.30 Monday – Thursday, Friday 15.30 finish

* Overtime is available and paid at x1.5

* 25 days holiday
