Salary: £54,000 per year

My client is recruiting for a Temporary HR Manager, for initially 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of seven HR professionals
• Manage recruitment process including the development of adverts, conducting interviews, conducting aptitude and personality testing, offers of employment and the drawing up contracts.
• Completion of all relevant internal documentation.
• Process all new starters and leavers details and ensure that the relevant documentation is forwarded to Payroll.
• Record, maintain and update employee personal details, employee files and other relevant documentation.
• Ensure that Return to Work interviews are completed following all absences for all departments.
• Conduct disciplinary meetings and administer relevant sanctions up to, and including, the dismissal of employees.
• Completion of all necessary internal documentation relating to Maternity/Paternity leave.
• Organise and assist in the training of managers and staff.
• Ensure that an accurate record of individual employee competence is recorded.
• Ensure that performance reviews are completed and recorded.
• Produce the monthly company newsletter.
• Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are available for all tasks carried out and are up to date.
• Produce a report on the findings of each staff survey and produce an action plan for the Senior Managers to achieve.
• Identify and manage HR staff attendance issues in accordance with internal procedures by conducting return to work interviews, welfare calls and disciplinary meetings.
• Identify and manage staff performance issues (conduct & capability) in accordance with internal procedures and through appropriate channels.
• Actively identify & contribute to continuous improvement within all departments through data analysis & team meetings.
• Key relationships with Senior Management Team, Line Managers and daily contact with staff at all levels / in all areas within the business.
• Succession planning identifying and developing internal people with the potential to fill key business leadership positions in the company.
• Comply and adhere to the Investors in People business improvement structure.
Requirements:
• CIPD Qualified
• Experienced working at a HR Management level
Opportunity details:
• Hours: Office hours Monday to Friday
• Salary: Up to £54,000
• Contract type: Short term initially.
