Our client is a thriving, engineering company who manufacture a variety of machinery, parts and components for customers all over the world.
Utilising the latest equipment and technology they have an enviable reputation in the engineering sector, manufacturing to the highest quality.
They employ around 90 staff at the site in King’s Lynn and have a dynamic and friendly culture within the company.
Due to continued success and expansion a further Technical Sales Engineer is required to join the technical sales team.
You will be responsible for developing customer solutions in the manufacturing machinery ‘space’ from first principals including initial concept, preparing quotations and negotiating orders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- To learn and fully understand the product range and possibility’s for bespoke solutions/machinery.
- Being able to combine a developing technical knowledge with sales skills.
- Working towards building relationships with existing customers within specific industries.
- Develop new clients within product areas including with some soft targets and some cold contacts.
- Arrange and visit existing customers and potential prospects to present the company and products
- Produce quarterly sales and activity reports
We are looking for a technical sales person with experience in ‘end to end’ sales of manufacturing equipment with a proven sales track record. You must have a good analytical/design knowledge (CAD experience preferable, but not essential)
Salary, to suit experience circa £78,000’000 plus benefits
