Hydraulic Technical Sales Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year

Due to continued market growth my client is offering an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Hydraulic Technical Sales Manager to develop and grow their existing client base as well as bring on new business opportunity throughout the UK. My client is an international leader within the hydraulics industry. Their ideal candidate would ideally be from within the industrial hydraulics industry and have a technical sales background in pumps, cylinders, valves, power packs and hydraulic systems. The role is to grow my client’s direct OEM customer base focusing mainly on high value-added applications in industrial engineering, power generation, renewable, offshore markets and more.

Hydraulic Technical Sales Manager role:
Representing my client in the UK you will be home based and ideally geographically placed to cover both the North and South UK. You will report to the UK Area Sales Director and be responsible for:
Increasing UK market penetration to mainly O.E.M customers
Identifying and appointing new hydraulic component distributors in strategic locations.
Supporting and developing the existing customer base.
Identifying product gaps in existing customer sales, promoting the range, and submitting quotations for competitive products.
Visit the clients European manufacturing base to view progress on new product
Developments and technical updates at least once a year or whenever necessary.
Liaise with customer and my client for technical support and visits abroad as and when required.

Hydraulic Technical Sales Manager requirements:
Educated to relevant engineering discipline
Proven technical sales background with industrial hydraulics
Previous experience working for a hydraulic component manufacturer
Self-motivated and driven
UK driving license

Salary: £60,000 – £66,000
