Technical Sales Support

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

We’re looking for a Technical Sales Support Specialist to play a key role working alongside an experienced Sales and Account Management team selling a cloud based SAAS product. You will work closely with the Sales professionals and their clients helping prepare technical sales documentation and presentations.

You will be working as a key part of the Sales team to liaise directly with clients and support the sales team – including attending presentations and technical demonstrations.

You will be responsible for:

* Supporting both the Sales and Account Management Team in the preparation of technical sales documentation

* Liaising with prospective clients to gather sales information and technical requirements

* Assisting in compiling data and information required in client tenders and RFP’s/RFI’s

* Developing an excellent understanding of product functionality

* Working with the Senior Sales Staff and Management to actively improve the sales support function and support “library” of material available to Sales and Account Management staff

* Planning, scheduling and compiling technical presentations and demonstrations

* Supporting sales staff throughout the full sales cycle including contact with clients and attending technical demonstrations

Experience required:

* At least 2 years’ experience working in a commercial sales environment

* Excellent grasp of technology along with advanced IT skills

* Degree qualified – ideally in a Technical or Business-related field

* Experience adapting, manipulating and amending tech platforms like databases, CRM etc

* Fantastic communication skills both over the phone and face to face

* Good ability to understand technical concepts and their application/impact on a client

* Good stakeholder management skills

* Experience working with a SaaS product preferred

* Experience delivering technical demonstrations or presentations preferred
