Salary: £30,000 – £32,400 per year
A new Junior Technical Sales Engineer opportunity: Have you a passion for engineering? Do you have an education or experience in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical or Photonics combined with a customer focussed approach?
If you a confident communicator who is responsive and personable, able to provide administrative support and help manage the sales cases in the engineering team, then this outstanding role is for you!
The Junior Technical Sales Engineer will work closely with the UK Technical Sales and Service teams, you’ll be qualifying new customer requests, maintaining the CRM, assisting with queries, quotes and product solutions in conjunction with the global sales teams to learning all about their specialist products and applications. Whether you are with or without prior industry experience, training will be provided and adjusted accordingly to bring you up to speed. This is a great opportunity to grow and develop in a fascinating market.

Skills and qualities required for the Junior Technical Sales Engineer:
* An education or experience in engineering or physics with a desire to use that passion for delivering great sales and service to the engineering team
* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills – you’ll be a great communicator
* Attention to detail, organised and have initiative to use your questioning/listening skills
* A team player can offer strong data analysis and reporting skills, must also be comfortable with presenting concepts to a large audience
* Good all-round skills with Microsoft packages and ideally some proficiency in SolidWorks (though training can be offered) plus the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
