Teaching Assistant

Salary: £26,000 – £26,520 per year

We are currently recruiting for outstanding Teaching Assistants for our supportive primary schools in Wakefield on long term and day to day roles. To be considered for the roles you will need to have the following:

• Ability to plan engaging lessons
• Good knowledge of phonics
• Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups
• Enthusiastic and supportive attitude 
• Strong classroom management skills and experience with SEN
• Ability to keep students focused and engaged
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Experience supporting children with a range of additional needs
• CACHE level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• A current, enhanced DBS on the online update service (or be willing to undertake one)
