Systems Analyst

Systems Analyst required to join my client, a leading software house in Basingstoke, Hampshire. You will be responsible for the definition procedural, process and system requirements and documenting specifications for customer specific and roadmap projects. To design, develop, manage and test individual work packages for such projects and to work with internal teams and external suppliers.

Key activities include:
* Work closely with Commercial and Sales teams to understand customer specific project needs and Line of Business to understand roadmap needs
* To design and manage the development of individual work packages of systems development and, as and when appropriate, to perform these activities in conjunction with internal teams or external suppliers
* Validate the quality of the solution with the quality assurance team to assure the deliverables received from suppliers, partners and/or other internal teams meet agreed specifications
* To assist in the development or configuration of software and the installation of systems for the purpose of customer demonstrations either in the UK or overseas.
Desired Knowledge and Experience:
* Significant experience with object-oriented OOD software development methodologies and practices.
* Demonstrable strong systems analysis background including proficiency with a mixture of Visual C++, C#, MSSQL, Oracle Server,.NET, asp.NET and PKI.
* Good understanding and experience of developing Microsoft based solutions using the latest Microsoft technologies.
* Extensive experience of defining software requirements and documenting specifications.
* Good software lifecycle background including knowledge of software design methodologies.

For this Systems Analyst role they are paying a salary up to £54,000 with benefits including 10% Bonus, Pension Scheme, Death in Service, Childcare vouchers, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, Free parking
