Salary: £45,600 – £50,400 per year

A public sector business committed to investment in their software systems are looking for an experienced Lead Systems Analyst to provide systems support and development. The organisation is agile, and this role can therefore be mostly remote working with occasional visits to head office in Southeast Scotland.
Your main responsibilities will be the support and development of the organisation’s software systems. You will provide systems analysis / programming, support large scale upgrades to software and implement strong data standards. You will also need to be experienced in translating business requirements to technical requirements for IT and provide systems training to other colleagues.
Essential Skills:
- Extensive systems analysis / programming experience within a commercial role
- Understanding of network infrastructure and technologies
- Experience leading large scale upgrades to software systems
- Experience working in both Oracle & SQL environments
- Data integrity / data standards implementation
- User training
- Experience working with housing management systems such as Aareon QL, Capita One/OPENHousing, Civica Cx, NEC NPS Housing, Omniledger, MRI Orchard Housing, MIS ActiveH or repairs systems would be highly desirable for this role although not essential
