The successful Support & Test Engineer will provide test and support to electromechanical systems provided predominantly to the Defence sector. The role will involve carrying out scheduled service work as well as responding reactively to faults and repairs and hence there will be an element or UK and overseas travel required as part of the role. Approximately 75% of the role will be based from the Barnstaple office however, the successful candidate MUST hold a valid passport and be prepared to stay away from home.

The Support and Test Engineer will be responsible for repair and fault diagnosis, requiring you to work from circuit diagrams and wiring schedules and using a variety of electronic test equipment including logic analysers, scopes and multi-meters. You will be required to assemble and test prototype circuits as well as carrying out investigative duties.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a security clearance and ideally hold a current BOSIET and CONDO Certificate or be able to pass this requirement.
